Recent Presentations
Barbara Smith gave a presentation on May 1, 2007 on Building Your Estate Plan. The presentation covered basic estate planning tools, including wills, living trusts, living wills, health care powers of attorney and financial powers of attorney. The presentation was part of a LifeCycles for Women Program at Lake Hospital System titled “How to Manage Stress by Becoming Your Own CFO”. The program, which was attended by approximately 100 participants, also included a presentation on financial stress issues by Lori Stevic-Rust, Ph.D., of Lake Hospital System, and a presentation on financial planning by Andrea Shea of Smith Barney.
Super Lawyers 2007
Both partners in the Chagrin Falls law firm of Smith & Hultin LLC have been named Ohio Super Lawyers for 2007. Barbara J. Smith has been chosen for health care law and Pamela N. Hultin has been chosen for business litigation. Super Lawyers are nominated and elected by vote of their peers throughout the state. Only 5% of lawyers in the state are chosen as Super Lawyers. Both Ms. Smith and Ms. Hultin have been named Super Lawyers each year since the inception of the award.
Top 25/50 Female Super Lawyers
Barbara Smith was chosen as one of the Top 25 Female Super Lawyers in Cleveland and one of the Top 50 Female Super Lawyers overall in the State of Ohio for 2007.
Recent Presentations
On Friday, October 27, 2006, Barbara Smith gave a presentation on Enhancing Your Personal Leadership Brand at a seminar jointly sponsored by the Cleveland Bar Association, Ohio Women’s Bar Association and the YWCA of Greater Cleveland. The seminar was attended by approximately 100 women lawyers and business executives. |
